Southbank Cottage is a two bedroom property that has been beautifully finished with your comfort in mind. There is a fully fitted kitchen which includes a washer dryer, so that you have everything for a short or longer term visit to York. There is a lovely dining table that sits four people and this leads you to the seating area with two very comfortable sofas, so whether ready for a movie night or relaxing after a hard days shopping, you know you will feel at home.
Upstairs there are two good sized double bedrooms and a lovely family bathroom, making sure that you are well rested and ready to go for your day at the races, Brunch (both Robinson or The Pig and Pastry are close by on Bishy Road), or for your night out in the centre of York.
If you find yourself wanting to just kick back and relax in this lovely house you can head out to the courtyard for a coffee and a read, or a glass of wine and a bite to eat - Southbank Cottage is a perfect base for exploring York, it has permit parking for 1 car, outside space and close proximity to both the York suburbs and the City Centre. A perfect holiday base.

Lovely place to stay

This is a really lovely cottage, close to the city centre, the station, Scarcroft Park and the Bishy Road shops. Calm and tasteful decor, well equipped, comfortable, clean. Our family lived here for two months in total while we had building work done and it felt like home. Be aware that its a small cottage and all the clothes storage is in the main bedroom so if your group is friends rather than one family you may need to work around this. The neighbours are friendly and its a gorgeous neighbourhood, with the allotments at the back and the school at the end of the road.
Brilliant stay

The cottage is in an ideal position, 10 minutes walk from Clifford's Tower and also 10-15 minutes to the Racecourse. Everything is very clean and comfortable, with parking available. Will definitely try to book again when we return to York
Small but beautiful

This is a beautifully finished property , very cleverly designed as it makes the most of the small size. It was very comfortable but very small for 4 people . Its in a great location . Easily accessible to all the things York has to offer.
A Little Gem in York

Southbank Cottage exceeded our expectations. Very clean, comfortable and modern with everything needed in place Lovely welcome pack on arrival and Christmas decorations made such a nice welcome. Property is only a 10-15 minute walk into the Centre of York. Parking was a bonus outside the property all arranged by Stays York and included in the price Would definitely return to this lovely property in a very nice area of York.
Beautiful Little House

The location was perfect and had sitting out areas at both front and back. The cottage was beautiful, comfortable, light and clean. This property would be wonderful for a short break for 4 people. We stayed for 4 weeks (due to relocation) and the second bedroom was rather snug for that length of stay.
