I stayed here with my husband, 2 year old and 4 month old. We choose the area as we had previously stayed in another air b n b nearby.
The area is fantastic. There's a park at the end of the road, the hop on hop off bus stops at the end of the road and it's a 15 minute walk into town. We love going to Robinson's for brunch (get there 15 mins early to queue) and tried out dark horse espresso.
Parking was easy and we managed to get a space outside the house.
Although not advertised as a family rental the house was family friendly with no sharp corners or precious ornaments in reach. There is a gate in the back yard with a couple of steps that we managed to carry the buggy up and into the house for nap time.

Very comfortable and clean. Had everything that we needed there. Lovely log burner and quirky modern surroundings. Very near to the centre of York.
