Everything was very good. I have given it a 1 for comfort due to the fact that the pillows were so thin they were almost non existent. We actually went out and bought some new ones.
The Good and the Bad

A large studio room. Quite spacious. Room for the bed to remain in the down position all day. The kitchen area is tiny and the combination grill/oven/microwave controls I found unfathomable. The StaysYork instructions are no help. They did send someone to help me so that was very useful. Overhead cupboards are very high. Luckily Im tall. The washing machine takes at least four hours to do a wash and dry. It has no facility to reduce the time if you have a lightly soiled wash. The shower was good although Im not a fan of overhead showers. Plenty of hot water. By far my biggest bugbear is the walkway immediately outside the window. Its in constant use not just by residents. Some people are quiet but others are very noisy. Its also difficult to arrange the shutters to provide privacy. It was mostly very warm inside but there was a powerful rotating fan to provide a welcome breeze.

Comfortable stay in good size room. However found it very warm for sleeping and had to leave fan running all night. The room had a ventaxia system but no information on its operation was provided, so couldn't make it work. There was a dehumidifier, but again no instructions and it was full of water and mouldy filters which probably added to an unpleasant smell in the room. All cutlery had to be washed before use as it was greasy. Windows had no safety catches which caused some concern as a public walkway was outside, and we had to leave them open at night for ventilation. We enjoyed our time in York as the apartment was convenient for the town and local supermarkets.

comfortable secure and very clean my colleague enjoyed his stay, enough space to park our vans and quiet enough area so he could rest after a long night shift. would definitely book again

Keys were not checked prior to arrival which meant we were an hour before we could access our apartment due to missing key fob therefore we could not park our car

56 Cocoa Suites is the perfect place to stay in York. A lovely studio apartment, in a secure building. Having a parking place is wonderful. The apartment is comfortable and very clean. Communication is good and timely. Would highly recommend the apartment .

The apartment had everything you needed for your stay. Very clean, comfortable and equipped. Perfect location with easy access to the main attractions. We were able to park the car and walk everywhere. National train museum about 20 minutes walk, Viking museum about 10, shopping centre and Minster about 6. Security was good but there were quite a few codes to remember. In summary, perfect spot for exploring York, excellent accommodation overlooking the river.

Couldn't fault the accommodation or location. Secure parking a plus and very close by to attractions and amenities. Overall enjoyable stay in a clean and well equipped apartment.

Flat was perfect for location. Easy 5 minute stroll into city centre. Flat was clean and all essentials there. Couple of cons though. The "drop off point" is not clear outside Flat so didn't risk leaving car to empty bags first. The code to the carpark level door was not obvious so had to go in twos to take things from car or risk the door shutting and having to walk all the way back down and up the stairs outside to get back in. The cooker kept cooling down so cooking something was a bit of a trial. But ultimately we would stay again for ease of access to city!

We booked direct with Stays York.They were helpful and were able to answer all my questions. Check in was easy because precise instructions were provided. Security in the apartment block was good and the common areas were clean and well looked after. On-site parking was a definite bonus. The location of Cocoa Suites is excellent. Very easy to walk to the city centre and all the attractions, cafes, pubs, restaurants and shops that York has to offer. We had a studio apartment, which had a pull down bed, but we left it down during our stay. The apartment was well equipped for the two of us. towels and bed linen was provided, also a welcome pack! It was comfy and warm, plenty of hot water, a great shower and large fluffy towels. We would definitely recommend Stays York and Cocoa Suites!

Our stay at the Cocoa Suites was exceptional! For our first time visiting York, it was everything we needed & more. The room was spacious, clean and beautifully decorated. A 10 minute walk to the city centre, free parking on site & situated right on the River Foss, I highly recommend!

Nice flat close to town. The location was great, just a short walk from the flat into town and the property was modern and up to date. It was great to have secure parking. Most of the facilities were good. The shower was excellent. The support from the managing agent was very good as they quickly replaced a missing cable for he TV.
