Cocoa Suites 46 - One bedroom apartment in York city centre

This property is in an extremely convenient location as one can walk in the historic part of town just minutes away. The security of the unit is stellar with multiple doors with codes just to get to the apartment. The apartment was outstanding and spacious. I hope I have a chance to make a return visit.

I recently returned to this apartment after a pleasant first stay in May, but unfortunately this visit fell far short of expectations. While the apartment itself is modern and nicely presented, a number of issues made the experience uncomfortable. The Wi-Fi dropped repeatedly throughout the stay, which was both inconvenient and frustrating. Even more concerning was discovering a pair of old women’s underwear behind the towel heater—an unexpected and unhygienic find that suggests housekeeping standards were not up to the level they should be. The heating was also extremely temperamental, often either not working properly or becoming too warm, making it difficult to maintain a comfortable temperature. This is particularly disappointing as my previous stay did not involve any such issues. Additionally, the bottom tray of the fridge—used for storing milk—was still broken, the same condition it was in during my stay in May. This indicates that maintenance concerns reported previously have not been addressed. Overall, despite the apartment’s modern appearance and potential, the lack of cleanliness and the recurring maintenance and comfort issues made this stay far less enjoyable than my first. I truly hope these concerns are taken seriously so future guests can enjoy the experience this property should be able to provide.

Had an amazing stay in the cocoa suite 46 for my partner 30th birthday! The place was modern, clean, tidy and we’ve none stop talked about how comfy the bed was!!! Definitely 10/10

The room is spacious and well-designed, with a clear separation between the living room, kitchen, and bedroom. The kitchen is fully equipped with essential appliances, including a coffee machine and microwave. The overall environment is excellent, providing a comfortable and enjoyable stay. The only drawback is that the room is located at the end of the corridor, which may be slightly inconvenient if you have multiple bags or large luggage.

Overall a great stay, lovely apartment but under the surface there were a few minor details that disappointed, all insides of the wardrobes hadn’t been cleaned so when hanging clothes they all got very dusty, part of the cupboard in the kitchen was hanging off and unable to open windows easily so cooking smells left in the air, scratches on the places mats, all very minor things but just let the apartment down slightly! However would definitely stay again

I'll be back again and again. Location is the best Comfort really important was great. I reconnmend to everybody
