Overall is quite good, but there have some issue on bathroom shower head,sometimes the hose is separated from the shower head when showering.

Our second stay in this cosy, comfortable, light and warm apartment. Easy check in, good lift and stairs area. Good view. Perfect location just a couple of minutes walk to Bootham Bar and plenty of shops Kitchen lacking some basic kit e.g. veg and bread knives, a few more cups etc. and on this stay there wasn't a single teaspoon! We asked about this at the StaysYork office, but although the person we spoke to was helpful she was clearly limited by not being able to contact the owner. Better/faster communication between owners and agents (StaysYork) would make the difference, esp. if the issue were a bit more serious than teaspoons!

I stayed in this apartment for 6 weeks and would certainly recommend it, and Stays York. The location is unbeatable, so close to the centre of York that you can hear the Minster bells! The apartment itself is well outfitted with everything you need for a comfortable stay. I'd happily stay there again. Stays York is also a great company to work with. They are very responsive and helpful. I would book with them again.

Amazing location

I stayed in this apartment for 6 weeks and would certainly recommend it, and Stays York. The location is unbeatable, so close to the centre of York that you can hear the Minster bells! Stayed 7 nights in this lovely apartment @ Bootham House. Very minimalistic layout that we grew to appreciate over time, with little risk of breaking anything as a consequence. Extremely quiet with only occasional noise from other apartments in the same building. The common areas in Bootham House are maintained to a high standard and the lift is relatively new. The view from the large windows was much appreciated across to Museum Gardens and beyond.Smart tv was appreciated, though you will need to use your home sign in details. Negatives just a few and of minor importance. All 4 windows can be opened, but could be somewhat difficult for shorter people without access to say a small stool. The shower temperature gauge just needs tightening and the large spoons are really large. That said, Apartment 8 is a super place to stay and chill out.

Lovely luxurious flat in a perfect location

Spotlessly clean and comfortable. Efficient and easy to adjust heating. Plenty of space and storage. Easy access, good lift. Pleasant view and quiet, but with the city centre just a few minutes walk away. Could have done with a few more basic kitchen items e.g. a second saucepan, scissors, a bread knife and coffee cups. But would certainly stay again.

A haven in a time of need

My husband and I stayed in this lovely, spacious flat for 5 nights in September. We were lucky to be there because we both got covid and stayed in to recuperate and isolate. The kitchen is basic and could be better designed (e.g., the microwave door opens backwards), but it was well equipped and served us well cooking every meal. We were especially grateful for the jigsaw puzzle, which kept us from losing our minds. We particularly appreciated that we came from New York to old York and completed a puzzle of old New York. This was a great place to be sick, and would be an even better place to be well and enjoy what old York has to offer.

Had a lovely few days here and we have stayed in this area several times but we will definitely return to this property.

Incredible find in the centre of York, walking distance from bars, cafes and anything you could need. The apartment itself was beautiful and spacious, perfect for all travellers. Would highly recommed and will definitely be coming back the next time im in York

The property was very homely and cosy, we had everything we needed and the location was excellent being a very short walk to the centre. It was very clean and the facilities were amazing. As well as this getting the key was a very easy process. Overall an amazing stay and would definitely recommend!!!
