This stunning two-bedroom luxury holiday home looks directly out onto the historic city walls in central York. Nestled in a secluded courtyard, you wouldn’t believe you are actually right in the heart of the city.
The property boasts a lovely, quiet outside area and is the perfect space for relaxing after visiting all there is to see and do in York. Other amenities include free private parking out-front for two cars and WiFi throughout.
Inside, everything exudes ultimate luxury and quality from the top of the range handcrafted natural fibre mattresses with breathable layers of wool and luxury cashmere to the contemporary bathrooms.
One of the bedrooms can be set up as two singles (this must be requested on booking).
All the delights of the city are just a leisurely stroll away including Bettys Café Tea Rooms, the Jorvik Centre and York Minster.

Please note there are no vapes or e-cigarettes allowed within the property.

Superb modern, immaculate townhouse. So close to Monk bar and the Minster. Excellent furnishings. Well fitted kitchen and bathrooms, luxurious infact! Nice and warm and cosy. Everything you would need is provided. Great attention to detail which is appreciated. The cleanest accomodation we have ever stayed in! Shout out to the cleaning team and the owner for ensuring such high standards!

This is an entire house with 3 floors (ground floor included) wasn't expecting it so it came as a delightful surprise. Two beautiful, tastefully done up bedrooms with soft, neutral and restful colour schemes. Each bedroom has a charming picture window and unbelievable proximity plus amazing view of the ancient city walls. The master bedroom at the topmost floor has its own separate closet, dressing room and the bathtub is a blessing at the end of a tired tourist's day! The kitchen, sitting and dining on the ground floor open up to a small backyard (which we didn't have time to use since we were too busy sightseeing) A toilet on the ground floor brings the total number of bathrooms to 2 and a half (WC and wash basin) With every amenity you can think of, the kitchen is a dream. Modern, efficient, clean to a fault and the sort of place you wish you had more time to relax in. So fortunate to have found this place and it goes without saying that we will definitely come back. Thank you Nigel and Yvonne for creating this stunning space in the City Centre. Walk out and you are just a stone's throw away from every historic landmark. The charm and beauty of Pear Tree House is how quiet and village like, yet how close to the centre it is. It is really the perfect holiday home! I had to take the time to write this review because our stay and memories of York will always include this lovely home in Pear Tree Court.
Usually there's always a little to point out, even in the best of homes but with 12 Pear Tree I am happy to say I simply cannot fault it and that's really saying something!

Perfect !!! Immaculate 2 bedroom town house, finished to an exceptional modern standard way beyond usual expectations for a holiday let. Set in a quite close within (and just under) the city walls. 2 large bedrooms, spacious kitchen diner, 2 large bathrooms, downstairs cloakroom and even a small box room/office, 2 private parking spaces in front of the property, 5 mins walk to the Shambles in one direction and the Minster in another. Supermarkets a short walk or short drive away, very well equipped kitchen perfect for a small family to self cater for days or a week plus. Could not fault in any way

5 star holiday home! This house was like staying in a 5 star hotel, every little detail was thought about. Having separate bathrooms on each floor was amazing. The kitchen was beautifully designed, the TV was very good quality with access to lots of different channels, there was a downstairs toilet and it was extremely clean! It was just amazing!

A perfect Town House for a Family Stay in the heart of Historic York. The House is in the Centre of York with the Medieval wall practically in your back garden! Parking is always difficult in York but this venue has ample outside the property, which is located in a very quiet historic road within a few minutes walk of the Monk Gate or Kings Square in the heart of York. There is a washroom on the ground floor plus Bathrooms on each of the Bedroom floors, all finished to a high standard and this makes it perfect for a Family stay! The Kitchen facilities are top-notch and you can self cater as much as you wish. As someone who knows York well, if you are looking for a venue to explore York but also have the comforts of home, then I would recommend this venue!

Fantastic property in an amazing location. The property was immaculate, and extremely modern and stylish. It was self accommodation, but all things we may have required were left, even ice cubes ready in the freezer. The location was excellent, literally 5 minute walk into York centre.

Perfect Pear Tree! 12 Pear Tree is perfectly located for exploring York. With parking directly outside of the property we left our car and explored the city on foot. There are lots of restaurants close by we really were spoiled for choice. The house is immaculate with everything you could possibly need for a home from home stay. Having a washing machine and tumble dryer means you can travel light. Nice touches such as Noble Isle bath products, chocolates and savoury snacks were supplied. We would highly recommend a stay at this delightful house.
