Great location and enjoyed our stay - thank you

Fantastic house with great bathroom facilities - great location - well thought out space and decor lovely - hot tub a bonus too . Sadly had to mark comfort down as the settee in lounge was so uncomfortable to sit on we all ended up sitting on dining room chairs mostly 5 adults and 12 year old child stayed - the couch was listed as bed settee ?but was a very soft couch with a cover over it . Was fine for 12year old to sleep on thankfully . We would stay again if there was more comfortable seating in lounge and would take the train next time in York , as if we hadnt been lucky enough to get one of the spaces next to house the car park near by was £25 per day/night . And we had two cars between us all staying - my daughter and partner managed to park at Morrisons with Just Park for their 3 nights with us for £10 ish a day , but was a 25min walk from the house - and not secure parking so bit of a worry as a new car - but all was fine and we had a great few days in York and would definitely return one day and consider the house again if the changes had been made as I said with lounge seating - thanks everyone for an enjoyable experience in York
Very nice and practical house in a great neighborhood, Bishopthorpe Street.

Very nice and practical house in a great neighborhood, Bishopthorpe Street. We enjoyed the shops and restaurants. York is a wonderful, very livable city. We were able to immerse ourselves in York's life for a week. The house is ideally located on the edge of the Old Town and close to Rowntree Park, with tennis courts, a playground, and plenty of opportunities for play and relaxation.
Family friendly house, in convenient location

Ebor House was in an ideal location - a very short walking distance to Bishy Road with its quirky cafes and eateries. Also only a short walk to the centre of York. We had only booked for a 4 night stay but could easily have stayed longer. Beds were very comfortable and the 3 toilets and 2 showers in the property are a god-send when you have teenage children! The hot tub a lovely way to relax after a long day sight seeing too. The only gripe we had was the sofa - it was quite uncomfortable and impossible to get up from as so low, we ended up sitting in the kitchen more often than not - please consider changing it for future guests, Im sure other people will find this an issue too!
