Blake Mews has recently been refurbished to a very high standard. The designers have given careful thought to the finish, the rooms are both beautiful to look at and exceptionally comfortable.
Blake Mews is situated in the centre of York and offers the very rare opportunity to park 1 medium sized car onsite.
The property boasts three wonderfully comfortable bedrooms - The twin room is based on the ground floor and has been fitted with two single beds and plenty of space for clothes. There are then two further spacious double bedrooms on the 2nd floor, both with wonderfully comfortable king-sized beds and both with French windows that provide access to a fabulous balcony with stunning views across to York Minster, the perfect place to sit and take in this world-famous building. People travel from all over the world to visit York Minster and you have the perfect view from your own space, which is complete with sofa, table, and chairs. An incredible place to enjoy your morning coffee or evening glass of wine. One of the bedrooms also has its own ensuite shower room and the second is served by the house bathroom, complete with bath and shower over.
On the first floor of Blake Mews you will find the large living space. This comprises a fabulous study, just in case you need to work whilst you are in York, you can do so in comfort in this light, bright room. The open plan kitchen/living area is a fantastic area in which to spend time. The lounge area offers comfortable sofas to settle down into to make the most of the evenings, when you just want to kick back, relax, and enjoy this time spent together. There is a dining table big enough to sit everyone and a fully fitted kitchen, including a wine fridge, in which you will have everything that you need - whether it be a sumptuous evening meal, or spoiling yourself with a special holiday breakfast treat, it’s all there!

Blake mews was in a perfect location , right in the heart of the city centre and all the main attractions just a few minutes walk away. The apartment was beautifully decorated and very comfortable with all amenities. Wonderful views of the Minster and so lovely to sit on the balcony having breakfast hidden away from everyone else. Highly recommend.

Well worth the price, I must say this was the best place we have ever stayed, they had a welcome gift, matching plates, cups etc. The parking was very useful, I drive an Audi Q7, the gate was narrow because it is an original feature, but I drove through it easily. The convenience of the dwelling for all the sights in York is superb. There are dozens of eateries within walking distance. Although it is in the city centre it is amazingly quiet, the only thing you will hear are the Minster bells. There is an entrance to the Mews on Blake Street which is really convenient. The beds were really comfortable and the place was really clean.

A fabulous furnished and presented property in a perfect location.
Great location right next to the Minster. Beautifully furnished and well equipped property.
Three double bedrooms with en suites for 3 couples but otherwise we all loved it. One couple got the short straw for the twin room.

Lovely townhouse in a great location . Comfortable and well equipped. Entering via the back gates was a bit of a faff and it would have been easier to enter in via the street door but otherwise you couldnt fault it .

We had a very enjoyable three night stay in this gorgeous home. Beautifully decorated, spacious, well equipped and in the perfect location. Prior to our stay we had wondered if it would be noisy staying in the city centre and so close to York Minster but we had no problem with this at all. Great to be able to have an allocated parking space. The welcome hamper full of tasty treats was a lovely touch. The only slight issue we had was with the single beds in the ground floor bedroom, the room was a little echoey due to the very lovely tiled floor and the beds were a bit noisy when turning over which resulted in a less than restful night for those sleeping in that room....maybe we are light sleepers! Overall, we would highly recommend! Thank you for making us feel so welcome and for great communication throughout.
