The living area has a comfortable sofa and large Smart TV. There is also a large dining table that doubles as an excellent workspace if needed.

The bedroom is a very light and airy space featuring a double bed and wall mounted TV. The smartly presented bathroom is larger than average and has a spacious walk in shower.

Available for stays of 28 nights or more. Unfortunately the property can not accommodate children or infants.

A long stay at the Loft

A bright airy apartment - we stayed for a total of 5 weeks in between houses. The Loft has windows with blinds in all directions so we were able to keep it a reasonable temperature during the hot weather. A key plus for us was a large dining table with room for working and eating. The kitchen is somewhat cramped but reasonably well equipped with saucepans etc. Note there is no dishwasher and the fridge is small with only a freezer compartment. Watch your head on sloping ceilings in kitchen and lounge! Lots of storage in dining area and bathroom. Heworth is a quiet residential area with some attractive walks from the door. Easy access to Yorkshire Wolds by car.

Nice and clean flat, spacious and good size for a couple. It was good for a short stay for work. Would recommend to have your car if planning to do a lot of travelling

This was an amazing place for me to stay during my 3 months placement at the hospital. It was close to a bus stop which made it easy to get the bus into the town and was around 40minute walk to get to the town. Neighbours are lovely. Private car park and also had nice walks around about it. The only thing that isn’t great is the roof is very low which means walking around hunched over when doing the washing up or in the kitchen area. The bathroom is also freezing cold even with the radiator for the towels. Overall great place

We stayed for 9 weeks while I was working away from home. The apartment itself is modern, in excellent condition and full of everything you need to go about your every day life. It takes just 25 minutes to walk into York itself and is only a short drive from a large shopping complex and leisure centre. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay, would most definitely stay again. Myself and my partner loved The Loft. It was warm and comforting. We stayed for a total of 3 months and a week. Stephanie, the owner lives next door and she was a marvellous host. She was very helpful and hospitable. We did however feel that the management company (Stays York) could have done a bit more. We had to initially tell them to send cleaners in, which they subsequently did every 2nd friday. The cleaner's as well didn't to a thorough enough job. The apartment would be clean, but it could have been done to a better standard. This in no way reflects on Stephanie who was brilliant as a host and owner. She is a lovely lady, who showed a lot of care. Overall I'd give The Loft a 4.5/5.

The perfect home away from home whilst working on a project at Castle Howard. Perfect location to walk into York centre.
