Superbly presented 3 bedroom property that's perfect for family getaways.
The ground floor has 3 double bedrooms. One room has en-suite with shower/WC. Also a large bathroom with bath/shower. First Floor consists of an open plan kitchen, dining and living area. Great views of the Estate. Set within the stunning grounds of the Raithwaite Estate with some fantastic walks within the grounds. Sandsend beach is also just a short 15 minute walk away. the property al;so now features a newly created patio space at the front of the property just perfect for summer evenings.
The property is now equipped with high speed WiFi along with Apple TV in the lounge and bedrooms.
Pets accepted.
**Please note that although the cottages are completely separate from Raithwaite Hotel, the hotel itself is currently undergoing a significant refurbishment and is closed until August 2024. Building work will be ongoing through this period on site**

New Years get together

Good accommodation, Living area quite snug for 6 people, but ok. Quite a walk through the hotel estate towards Sandsend. Some of the appliances need some attention- kettle handle and mixer tap.
Lovely stay overall.

Good set up. Nice location. Well laid out. Issue with drains in en suite but customer services were on hand with solutions. Ate in and out and had beautiful local walks. Beds were comfortable but all pillows too soft to allow for a good night sleep for all residents which is a shame as we were really comfortable otherwise. Had a lovely three night break. Just what we needed. A side note to the owners: living room double doors are split and need fixing (looks like theyve been like that for a while). Drainage smells need resolving long term (we managed to air as the weather was great but it wouldve been a serious issue otherwise).

Lovely cottage in beautiful surroundings. Close to the beach and not far from Whitby. Clean and well equipped. The only downside was no outside seating. The seating in the photo belonged to the next cottage.

Brilliant location, comfy beds and high spec appliances all made pheasant house a real pleasure to stay in. A few additions however would really help, no where in any of the rooms to store your clothes, no air drier to dry clothes, no extra towels or sheets in the cupboard. Extra sheets were requested as a night cover due to the hot weather but no one ever got back to me. Overall a lovely stay made even better by the glorious weather, some of the comments above would have made the stay more comfortable.
