This stunning 3 bedroom, 3 bathroom apartment is situated in Ryedale House - an exclusive, private development in the heart of York’s historic core. The Residence @ Ryedale House is on the 7th floor and offers fantastic views over to the historic York Minster from all of the rooms.
Stepping into the apartment for the first time you are immediately enveloped in the warmth and glamour that has been created with the stunning interior design work. Leading off the hallway area you are led into the main living space that contains a sumptuous sitting area for relaxing, chatting or enjoying an evening in front of the flat screen TV which is fitted with Netflix.
Located next to the sliding doors for the balcony there is an intimate dining area to seat at least six people. You can open the sliding doors to create your own "al fresco" private dining area, perfect for enjoying a meal or brunch in your luxurious surroundings.
The kitchen area has been designed to the highest standards and features premium Neff appliances throughout, a Dualit kettle and toaster and a DeLonghi coffee machine. There is a large island unit complete with breakfast bar and a bespoke worktop (including a wireless charging dot) creating a stunning living area which oozes glamour.
Leading off the living area is your own private balcony accessed via sliding doors covering both the living and dining area - when pulled right back they create a wonderful open feeling, perfect for long summer evenings! The balcony area is a perfect spot for either a glass of champagne before heading out, or a morning coffee, or just to take in the fabulous views across to York Minster.
Moving out of the living area you have three bedrooms and three bathrooms. All three of the bedrooms have been thoughtfully presented with beds to sink into after a busy day or fabulous night out in York. The master bedroom has an ensuite with a wonderful bath for a luxurious soak plus a separate walk in shower. The second bedroom also has an ensuite with a walk in shower. The third bedroom has a bathroom directly outside it with its own walk in shower.
All of the bedrooms have views over to The Minster and all of them are perfect for getting ready for your day out in York, an evening out or a day at York Races.

Fantastic location. Mattresses need updating. Could feel the springs. Pillows also need updating. Otherwise well furnished. Would stay there again. One caveat, the unit has no A/C. We only had the living room/kitchen heat on during the day in December and were slightly warm in the bedrooms at night. Im not sure if it would be bearable in the summer.
Apartment Getting Tired

We stayed in the Residence apartment about 18 months ago, and the underfloor heating was broken in the lounge at that time, I was reading some more up to date reports about how the main bedroom mattress was in very urgent need of replacement. We booked, and all went well until the first night we attempted to sleep in the bedroom. To say this mattress is in dire need of replacement is a complete understatement ! The springs are now popping out of the side of the mattress, and it needs changing NOW !! This apartment has the potential to be one of the very best, but the owners need to invest more in it, the TV in the lounge is a very very basic model. The other apartments we have stayed in previously in Ryedale House and we have stayed in 5 different ones so far, all have OLED TVs in them. The underfloor heating as all working well this time, but before I rebook int this apartment, I will be getting assurances from Stays York that some updating has been done, especially the main bedroom mattress, which needs doing NOW !!

2nd time booking with Stays York. Travelled with 2 other couples for midweek break, everyone commented how good apartment was. Superb accommodation, well positioned and views of the Minster. Will definitely book Ryedale again.

Nice place to stay, good location. The beds were far too soft for us and one thing I would suggest it needs is much better fans, it was very hot in the rooms and the fans werent powerful enough.

A very well equipped top floor apartment, with unrestricted views over the city and to the Minster. Spacious, clean and central for most attractions. Added bonus of car parking. Plenty of restaurants nearby and a couple of late opening convenience stores. Only downside was the mattress in master bedroom, with broken springs - needs replacing.

What you see is what you get. The apartment was immaculate, centrally located with great views across Yorks skyline. Booked through Stays York who were great from start to finish. If you want something a little special I would wholly recommend the apartment and Stays York for quality service. Not one complaint... Perfect!

The apartment was beautifully decorated with modern features. It was spotless and right in the centre with almost everything within walking distance. The car park and building are both very secure. The apartment also has a lovely view of the Minster and everything was as advertised. We received a lovely hamper full of lots and lots of goodies too! Id definitely go back to this apartment if Im ever back in York.

We absolutely loved this apartment. It is thoughtfully and beautifully presented in a contemporary style. The 3 bedrooms are comfortable and again stylishly decorated. It is spotlessly clean and smells divine! You are 5 mins away from the centre of York and all that it has to offer. I cannot recommend The Residence at Ryedale more highly. I only wish we'd been able to stay longer.

Five star luxury. The Residence at Ryedale House is the epitome of luxury, the apartment is absolutely lush and so stylish. Location is perfect, a few minutes walk to the town centre, York Minster Abbey and all major attractions, restaurants and bars. Staying in the apartment was a real treat, the balcony was amazing, having an outdoor space in a penthouse apartment was the icing on the cake, whether we were enjoying morning coffee looking at York Minster Abbey or having evening drinks before heading out for a meal, quiet spot and very private. Two private parking spaces were also included, which was a real positive. The apartment decor is very modern and stylish and is equipped with everything needed for a holiday. Would thoroughly recommend and will definitely return (hopefully soon)

We stayed at the Residence at Ryedale House and it was superb. Secure entry, private parking, within a short walking distance to everywhere we wanted to visit during our stay in York - car didn’t get used once during our 4 day stay.
The apartment itself is luxurious and stylish. A balcony with views of the Minster where you can sit and enjoy a glass of wine, high spec interior, kitchen and bathrooms as well as three comfortable bedrooms. Great for a bit of luxury away from home and with easy access to everything York has to offer. Can’t recommend highly enough. Will definitely be back!
