Pawson House has been tastefully furnished to ensure your complete comfort during your holiday in York. The two double bedrooms have dressing areas, perfect for getting ready for a day at the races or a night out in York. With large comfortable beds in both bedrooms, you are assured of a great night’s sleep, making sure that you are ready to make the most of the next day exploring the Museums, City Walls, Theatres etc that are all less than 20 mins walk from your peaceful hideaway.
The spacious living area has a fully fitted kitchen with everything that you need to prepare a sumptuous holiday breakfast or delicious evening meal that you can enjoy in the dining area, with a table that very comfortably sits four people. The seating area has a large screen smart tv with Netfilx installed for you to enjoy, should you choose to have a cosy night in front of the log burning stove.
For those lovely summer days and evenings there is an outside area with table and chairs for alfresco dining using the BBQ provided. Alternatively you may want to have a glass of wine there, before heading into the centre of York, making the most of all the fantastic restaurants and bars that are ready to welcome you.

Nice Apartment in Good Location

Enjoyable stay in Pawson House. We particularly liked the location and the secure parking space. Unfortunately, we had an issue in that we had no access to hot water on the first morning of our stay but, after a few calls, this was resolved by the Management Company by mid afternoon. Good service provided by Stays York.

The property is very spacious and comfortable. It feels very private with secure parking and has a lovely small outside sitting area which was a sun trap. The decor is stylish and relaxing. We really liked the location because it is near the road system to other places in Yorkshire yet a short walk (20 minutes) to the Munster and historic York. The walk along the river into the centre is beautiful and the most direct walk along the road is pleasant and full of history! Wed love to visit again.
Unconvinient setbacks, perfectly solved

There garage door broked but it was solved. We would like it to be solved more quickly and not to insist, but Julia and Molly understood perfectly the issue and managed the situation perfectly.
Warm and comfy

Despite winter is coming it's rather warm inside! The rooms are perfectly insulated from the cold. My sons review: the rooms are big and cool, perfect for playing.

We found the house very clean and very comfortable. Although, being for a four months stay more crockery would be a must. That has already been arranged with StayYork staff. All contact with StayYork staff has been very fast and diligent.
