Great place but ..

I really love this place. They have a beautiful 4 sets of dining plates etc and pots n utensils. This time though the cleaning and organizing of plates were not done the same way. It was standard that all plates and bowls are put in one shelf high up but was all over other selves bit by bit. Tefflon coated Frying pan was scratched up, so I requested a replacement which they did very quickly - I’m grateful. They provide a very slim standing fan. One day was 33 C outside and it felt like 35. I won’t ask for AC but definitely 2 bigger fan would be needed w this global warming. Also the room gets so hot that you need to open the door to let the wing/ air flow go but the door doesn’t have any chain or foot stopper but room 5-8 are on ground floor and ppl walk by outside of the doors. I don’t feel safe although it’s a safe area. I hope they consider installing the chain on doors (even second floor) door stopper and 1-2 bigger fan. Cleaning was usually perfect but this time was not w hair in drain and dust just below bed (not deep in below bed). I hope these improvements will be made so I can stay again. It’s a lovely place.

Really great property. Well furnished and very comfortable, its a really nice time to spend some time. Location is great as its quieter than being right in town, but still so close.

We stayed at the above apartment for a week. The apartment was very clean and very comfortable and had everything we needed. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The apartment was beautiful. The location was perfect. A short walk from the station and into town. Access to the city wall was very close too. Plenty of restaurants nearby and local Sainsbury's. Perfect location. We had no requirement for car parking however car parks were close too. We will definately return and recommend.

Second time of staying at the Falcon Tap boutique apartments. I highly recommend trying these if you haven’t already done so. Fantastic location just 5 minutes from the city centre, with lots of bars and restaurants in the immediate vicinity of the apartments. The apartments have all the amenities needed, with an easy check in & check out process. Multi-storey car park at the bottom of Toft Green / Tanner Row and also a small number of spaces (8?) on the NCP Toft Green car park which is less than 1minute walk from the apartments (NCP app required to park here but great value at £14 for 24 hours) We will definitely return to these apartments in the near future

It would be necessary to put hangers to hang the coats, instead of throwing them on the sofa. And a chest of drawers to keep clothes, instead of having to store them on the window sills. The rest, excelent. The hosts responded promptly to a problem.I had. We are very grateful.

We booked this apartment because of the location. We went daily to the August race meeting at the York horse racing course. The apartment was clean and the interior in good condition. It had a good kitchen and living room. The bedroom was comfortable as was the whole apartment, I would point out that the kitchen did not have a sharp knife or a decent tin opener. Apart from that our stay was very good, location to evening restaurants and bars within walking distance.

Nice, cosy little apartment on the ground floor. Nice quiet location only a couple of minutes walk from the centre. Only negative was the kettle which we didn’t use due to the limescale on the spout and inside. We enjoyed our stay.

Really nice stay, great location, very clean and modern, great facilities. management company had changed from original booking till arrival, check out time had changed but they allowed us to stay till 11 am as we had originally booked. The couple of things i would mention, no glasses in the apartment only a few large wine glasses, a washer but no airier and a iron but no ironing board. Would defiantly stay again.
