The Falcon York - Best Family Stay Near Museums

The Stays York Falcon Apartment delivers a brilliant home. You get a great location within walking distance of key museums and shops. Hosts provided exceptional support. They shared clear documentation about the property and called ahead of my stay to check for any needs. The apartment feels lovely and spacious. Rooms feature a good size with high ceilings, making the space feel open. Modern furnishings add comfort and coziness. The kitchen comes fully kitted out with all major appliances except a dishwasher. Two sets of stairs and no lifts exist on-site, though this wasn’t an issue for my family group. Cheap parking proves hard to find nearby. Try and secure a spot just outside at Times Parking and you can renew from your phone using RingoApp. I will book with them again, and I definitely recommend this spot.

We stayed for three days with two adults and two teens and it was a good space for us. Notably missing was a soap dish or small shelf in the downstairs shower — with not even a ledge to use, it was tricky business. Waste baskets in the bathrooms would have also been nice, as well as a way to make ice. Otherwise, it was a good location, clean, and as advertised!

Amazing apartment over 2 floors. Beautifully designed and furnished and in a brilliant location for station and city centre. Surprisingly quiet given the location and would highly recommend.

Booked several apartments. All lovely and in great location (had already been recommended). Nice for a group as individual apartments are along same path as the 3 bed apartment at the end.

The apartment is a great size, clean, big bedrooms, comfy beds. Location couldn't be better, self check in was easy. Would be good if permit parking was available outside the road. The kitchen isn't very well equipped though, for an apartment for 6 people there were only 3 tumbler glasses, the draining mat was mouldy, 1 tea towel is not enough, no small chopping knife. The overall decor felt slightly tired and there's bad damp/water damage stains down the wall near the window in the bedroom at the back. Sofa was very comfy though! Communication with the rental company was excellent. Overall we had a great stay though.

Lovely apartment - shame about the hot water issues

There were 4 of us staying from Friday to Sunday, the apartment is a great size and the beds relatively comfortable. It’s only a 5 minute walk from the centre of York so perfect for tourists. We did however have an issue with the hot water - after a long and rainy day exploring the shops in York, we all came back to shower ahead of going out for the evening, however the showers were running ice cold. We followed the instructions in the manual and switched on the heat-booster, but 35 minutes later this hadn’t made a difference. I called the emergency out of hours number, and the girl I spoke to just told me to wait another half an hour, which unfortunately wasn’t an option as we had a restaurant reservation, so a few of us didn’t shower and two had a cold shower, which wasn’t the best. I feel like this is something that needs investigating on the apartments end! That aside, it was lovely.

Overall the standard of apartment and facilities very good. Window sills needed a wipe down along with trim around shower. Another couple of keys 6 to access apartment would have been more convenient given 6 adults sharing.

Apartment is the same as what we see from the photo. Location is near to the train station and apartment is clean and fully equip. The only thing is there is no lift and we need to climb four storeys. Otherwise, all are good and I would recommend to other travellers.

Excellent accommodation, would use it again. Was slightly noisy at night ( early morning, 12-2 am) but that's to be expected in a City and wouldn't put me off staying again. Having a bin in the bathrooms and/or bedrooms would be a bonus to get rid of cotton wool etc.

Lovely apartment, so clean, modern and spacious, The welcome pack was a lovely touch, The only downside esp for the marathon weekend was the stairs leading to the apartment, both outside and inside, I didn't see any mention of this previously but that may have been an oversight on my part, Would highly recommend,

Very spacious and clean. Also provided with welcoming gift. However, it has quite a lot of stairs. So if you have lots of luggages or senior, it may not be suitable.
