Ryedale House is an exclusive, private development in the heart of York’s historic core beside the River Foss. The building benefits from secure allocated parking and an onsite concierge. 204 sits on the 2nd floor.
The apartment benefits from an lovely external balcony complete with outdoor seating for 5. This gives great views over the River Foss and Clifford's Tower and is the perfect place to relax with a drink on your trip.
The kitchen area has been designed to the highest standards and features premium Neff appliances throughout.
The main living area features luxury, white Italian leather sofas and large Smart TV with complimentary Netflix for your enjoyment. The dining area can seat 5 for dinner. The high quality wooden floors throughout the apartment also have the added benefit of underfloor heating.
The master bedroom is a huge space features a zip and link bed that can be set as a super king or a twin. There's also a wall mounted TV and high quality fold out sofa bed for the occasional extra guest. This bedroom also has an ensuite complete with underfloor heating and bath with over head shower.
The second bedroom of the apartment features a double bed and TV. Both the bedrooms benefit from having USB sockets near the beds and high quality carpets throughout.
A second bathroom can be found in the hallway of the apartment complete with a walk in shower.
The apartment also has the added benefit of an allocated car park space onsite.

We enjoyed our short stay in this comfortable modern apartment which was in an excellent location for exploring the delights of York. We appreciated the option of twin beds which are very difficult to find. On arrival the concierge of the building was very helpful and supported us in trying to access the secure car park. The lifts in the building made access to the apartment easy. The apartment was very quiet at night and overlooked the river. There was plenty of storage for the baggage we took and the main shower was warm and easy to use. We ate out at some excellent restaurants and cafe's each day, which were a short walking distance from the apartment. There were a number of small supermarkets near the apartment which was convenient for provisions. We only had a couple of small issues: the double bed was perhaps a little firm, not as comfortable as the twins. The drawers in the bedrooms were a little stiff and hard to open with the small handles.

Very well equipped flat with top range finishes. 2-3 minutes walk to the center, parking is included which is a big deal in York center. View over castle tower and quite. Would stay again and recommend to anyone.

I'm writing this on behalf of my daughter and her carer who stayed in the Ebor Suite for 2 nights while visiting York Christmas Market. The main reason for choosing Ryedale House was the location, only 5 minutes or so walk to the market and shops. They found the apartment spotlessly clean, well equipped and with the convenience of on-site parking.

From our initial enquiry and booking and then some queries regarding the apartment Stays customer service was excellent. The information provided on accessing the apartment block and car park was concise. The Ebor apartment was very nice, well presented and plenty of room. Comfortable beds, modern kitchen and spacious lounge area. The lifts on our first day were out of order, which could have been a disaster for us as I am a wheelchair user but the availability of the service lift saved the day! Although the main lifts had been repaired by mid morning the following day. The apartment are close to the city centre and near to many bars and restaurants. My only suggestion is that a ramp be fitted at the front entrance to enable wheelchair users or people with limited mobility easier access to the front of the building. Other than that the Ebor apartment is in a good location and is a great place to stay.

Fabulous apartment, lovely and clean and felt like we got our monies worth. Decor was great, plenty of towels and the welcome hamper was perfect. More in the kitchen than normal stays (cooking oil, vinegar, tea, coffee etc). Pleasant surprise. Location was perfect, parking easy and we were told very early that we could check in before 4pm which was great as we were going in a boozy lunch. Customer service faultless. Id defo use again, wish they were in Nottingham too.

Excellent location, very modern spacious property. Perfect for us with 2 adult children and great that the bedroom can be used as a king size or split into 2 single beds which was what we required and so often not available. Well equipped with good quality linen and utensils. So pleased we chose this property and we will be rebooking for future visits to York for sure. Excellent communications from rental property and very clear instructions given for our stay.

The apartment is very centrally located with every amenity catered for. Excellent standard of fixtures and fittings with easy to follow instructions for entry/exit. The small bathroom/shower room could benefit from having some shelving or place to put toiletries/make up as the sink is for a cloakroom with not much space to cater for anything more than a toothbrush. But this was a minor issue which didnt distract from the overall positivity of our stay.

Great Apartment

We stayed here for 6 days as we needed to change from the original apartment we had booked. The apartment is very clean, very modern and comfortable although the beds were very firm! The view is limited but its nice to sit on the balcony and watch the geese and swans go by. Location is great, only 5 mins from the main town centre and yet quiet, theres a lift if you want to use it and the concierge is very helpful. Theres a Tesco, Sainsbury and Co-op all with 7 mins walk so essentials are easy to find and they are all open late. Theres a parking space but we didnt use it and used public transport to get around. All the local attractions are worth a visit e.g. the Jorvik Centre, the Railway Museum (if that interest you), a walk around the wall, York Minster, The Clifford Tower and, of course, theres shopping! We also took a train to Knaresborough for the day which took 30 mins by train and is a lovely place to potter around. Theres lots of places to eat - The Chopping Board - French, Il Paradiso Del Cibo - a family run Italian, both of these are 5 mins from the apartment and excellent. Another great restaurant is the Yak and Yeti restaurant in the city centre - Nepalese and a Sunday roast at The Botanist in the centre of York, both of these were excellent too although you will need to book all restaurants in advance especially at weekends. We very much enjoyed our stay in this great apartment which we would recommend.

Beautiful apartment in excellent location. A few minor issues: - There should be a tray in the guest shower to put toiletries for showering - A bigger bed could be considered for the guest room - this is too small for 2 grown adults - Consider thicker curtains for the living area as the sun shines directly into it and makes it extremely glaring in the afternoons

Many thanks for the review and great to hear you enjoyed your time at The Ebor Suite. Just regarding the bed in the second bedroom, it is a standard size UK double bed (4ft 6inch). It's not advertised as a king size. Sorry to hear you found this a little small. The curtains in the living area are sheer to allow for the view to not be completely blocked whilst closed.

The location with a dedicated parking space was ideal for a short break. It was a 5 min walk to York city centre with local eateries, pubs and shops close by. A great flat comfortably taken 5 adults which excellent views of Clifford's tower. I would recommend to anyone especially as it was cheaper than the Travelodge down the street.

The property was fabulous and fitted to a very high specification. Spacious, superb location and a very comfortable stay. As soon as you arrive you feel the quality within the lobby.
