Set right in the heart of the city centre, this period property overlooks the iconic Clifford's Tower with spectacular views of this from the living room and master bedroom.
Upon entering from the private entrance on street you will be immediately wowed by the spacious hallway and vibrant colours that really pop. On the ground floor of the property you will find an occasional room that can be used to find a bit of quiet solitude and catch up with a good book. There's a separate dining room with table to seat 8 for dinner. This room also houses a sofa bed for the occasional extra guests. At the rear of the property there is a stunning modern kitchen with great natural light that's been done to the highest standard to include granite worktops and to end fixtures and fittings along with a bistro table and seating for 2. The kitchen features large sliding glass doors that open up onto a private patio area to enjoy the summer evenings. There is also a small wc on the ground floor.
Moving upstairs to the first floor you will find the house bathroom. A simply stunning space that really has the wow factor. With elegant copper touches and a large wet room style shower it really does impress. The main living room is also on the first floor offering comfortable seating and LCD Smart TV. The great thing about this room though is undoubtedly the simply stunning views over Clifford's Tower. Almost unparalleled in York and perfect for a spot of people watching. There is also a double bedroom on this floor too.
On the top floor you will find the spacious master bedroom complete with more stunning views and a shower ensuite that's a shared 'Jack and Jill' bathroom with the twin bedroom on the other side.
Parking is available for 1 car in the council car park just a minutes' walk away.

Fantastic location & great for a place to rest

Excellent location & a great apartment. The livingroom, kitchen & bedrooms are all nicely decorated & decent sizes, plus we had the added bonus of a courtyard. The smart TV runs Netflix, Prime & Disney+ so that kept our little one happy when we were back at the apartment. The kitchen is nicely laid out & has all the utensils youd expect at home. The only downside being the main bathroom door has warped to the point it wouldnt close meaning we couldnt use the bath, shower or toilet in there (we emailed Stays York on the day we arrived so hopefully this will be fixed soon). The apartment is a tad warm but there is an AC unit in the master bedroom which somewhat helped. The apartment is a very short walk from the main shops which is convenient when you just want to pop out. Overall, we had a lovely time & will look at booking again when we come back to York.

The property was superb. It has been decorated and furnished to a very high standard. Its very homely and was equipped with everything we needed for a perfect stay. The location is fantastic within a few mins walk of The Shambles and directly opposite Cliffords Tower.. Wish we had stayed longer, would definitely book again.

This home is amazing!!!! It is finished to an incredibly high standard and has all the amenities you could hope for. You definitely get your value for money.
It is ideally located for everything - you are within 2 mins walk of the river, lots of museums are close by and the whole of York centre is on your door step yet it is quiet and a great retreat after a day exploring.
Lots of super detail in this very stylish home. I've even taken ideas away for renovations I want to do in my own home.
The gift box is a very nice way to make sure you feel welcome from the moment you arrive. I definitely recommend a coffee in the courtyard before you head out on your adventures.
We will definitely stay here again - it is a gorgeous property in a superb location.
