Ryedale House is an exclusive, private development in the heart of York’s historic core beside the River Foss. The building benefits from secure allocated parking and an onsite concierge. Cityscape sits on the 6th floor and offers a dramatic views of York Minster and other landmarks across the city.
Upon entering the open plan lounge, kitchen and dining area for the first time you will be immediately struck by the amazing amount of natural light coming into the apartment from the floor to ceiling windows. The property occupies a corner position on the building which aids this. There is a seating area right in the corner of the room where you can take full advantage of relaxing with a coffee and taking in the view.
The kitchen area has been designed to the highest standards and features premium Neff appliances throughout. There is a large island unit and bespoke worktop creating a sophisticated and contemporary living space.
The dining area can seat 4 for dinner and backs onto the stylish living area with comfortable seating and large LCD TV. The high quality wooden floors throughout the apartment also have the added benefit of underfloor heating.
The master bedroom features a super king size bed that can be set up as twin beds on request and also has an ensuite complete with underfloor heating and spacious walk in shower.
The second bedroom of the apartment features a king size bed. Both the bedrooms benefit from having USB sockets near the beds and high quality carpets throughout.
The apartment also has the added benefit of an allocated car park space onsite.

Great place
Cityscape was a great base for our short stay in York. It certainly deserves the name Cityscape as the views were amazing. We would be happy to stay again and recommend to others.
Fabulous for a longer stay
With a stunning view of the Minster this is a spacious light filled apartment. Central yet quiet with private secure parking, it ticked all the boxes. Great amenities for self catering and there are lots of eating, entertainment and shopping options just outside the front door. Highly recommended.
Cityscape is a lovely apartment, very spacious with an excellent view of York Minster.
We spent 12 days at Cityscape. On arrival we discovered the apartment hadnt been cleaned properly after the last occupants left. There were still crumbs on the floor and the contents of a confetti bomb on the floor and under the cushions of the sofa. I also found a bottle cap under another cushion. I took many pictures of the mess and emailed them to StaysYork, they sent cleaners in the following morning but this shouldnt have happened in the first place. There was a filthy fur mat acting as a cushion on the bench seat and the coffee mats had tea/coffee stains. These items had been removed when we returned the following day. I always take cleaning wipes with me when I rent a holiday apartment and believe me, I needed them on this occasion. Otherwise, the beds were comfortable and the showers worked well. We would suggest that blinds or some sort of net curtains were put up at the windows in the living area as not only was there no privacy, it was also very hot and stifling. The fans provided were not up to the job.
