Lovely flat in great location short walk to all the shops and restaurants. The area was quiet and had access to public transport if you needed it.

Went with my daughter. City walls 26 was a lovely flat, with fantastic decking. My only gripe would be that the decking needs to be jet washed. Was looking very tired. Overall a good stay

Had a lovely stay in York at this apartment. Tucked away, close to the city walls. Not too far to walk to the centre. A very comfortable bed. One thing that needs to be done is the bushes next to the car parking space need cutting back.

I stayed here with my partner and baby it was the perfect location still very close but in a quiet area . Bed was comfy and apartment was just the space we needed . It was clean and provided everything we needed (iron) . The balcony was perfect especially as when we went the weather was boiling. Will definitely recommend and be coming back in the summer .

The apartment was clean and tidy, it had everything we need as a family of 3. Short walking distance to all the city has to offer. Customer service were great, too. They were very responsive to any questions we had. Highly recommended!

Lovely apartment. Taps loose in kitchen need attention. Lift needs replacing. My husband at 81;had to carry all luggage to car. I really struggled to get down the 3 flights of steps because lift would not work. Good parking and comfortable apartment.

Enjoyed our week's stay and liked the proximity to everything and the parking space. Nice apartment, however, could do with better instructions for heaters as it was hard to maintain the temperature even after using the arrow controls. Bathroom heater was not on on arrival and had to get a chair to reach the switch above the door. Also the bathroom fan was not working. Bedroom could do with thicker lined curtains as the outside lights outside the other apartments were very bright in the room. On the whole, nice relaxed stay in the apartment but a bit more attention to detail on dusting, cleaning the oven extractor and bleaching the mold on / replacing the shower sealant would make it perfect.

Me and my partner stayed for a weekend away in York. We were grateful to have StaysYork recommend this place as our other booking fell through. We would definitely go back again and will definitely go straight to StaysYork in future. It was a luxurious stay and the shower is amazing! The gift bag of essentials was a lovely touch too.

Just one or two small things on the inventory that were not in the apartment. No view of the walls from the apartment itself. Sofa not very comfortable but otherwise a very nice apartment well situated for buses into town

The apartment was well equipped and quite comfortable, however there was an overwhelming smell of bacon on arrival that did not dissipate throughout our stay, we actually left a day early partly due to this. Parking was a bonus, although instructions were not given for getting through the gate, luckily the cleaning operative was still there and showed us how to get in. We enjoyed being in a new part of York for us - student quarter, there was a vibrancy to the area.

Convenient base for exploring York

A nice compact apartment (a bit snug for 3). Well equipped with lovely bathroom. The layout from the photos has changed with the sofa and table swapped which made it feel a bit cramped. Didn't use the balcony but this would be a real plus in the summer. Convenient for the centre and City Walls. Nice and quiet overall. A few minor maintenance issues which we've reported so hopefully they'll be rectified for the next guests. A good break and Stays York are always very friendly and helpful with good communication.

A lovely comfortable flat in a quiet area with Parking

My partner Philip and I have been visiting the York early music festival for the past 25 years. We have stayed in a variety of accommodation. This was our second visit to 26 City Walls Sanctury and we have booked it again for next year, The flat is well equipped and has the huge benefit of a Large balcony, that we used for alfresco dining on several occasions. Although we don’t have a car, the car parking space was very useful when friends came to visit. A very comfortable bed assures a very good night sleep. Although the flat is not listed as wheelchair accessible accommodation, Philip was able to bring his wheelchair into the flat and provided you could manage the small step up into the shower, the flat comes pretty close to being accessible. The shower does need handrails as the floor has a very slippery surface.

Apartment very well located. Short easy walk to York Minister, shops, museums. York has loads to do. Easy walking access to supermarkets. Few minutes walk to join the York Wall. Apartment has everything you could need a great quiet space to chill after a busy day. Real bonus of having a parking space with the apartment.

Everything we needed, all full size appliances,no reduced size substitutes. TV, huge & Netflix included. Perfect location, everything within walking distance. Parked the car monday & there it stayed until friday. Thankyou

Nice flat and relatively close to the centre. The only comment I’d have is the outside area of the flats themselves - ie the entrances and stairwells up to the flats- these areas are not very well maintained.

Lovely apartment in an excellent location right next to the city walls and so close to excellent restaurants and bars. Easy and lovely walk into the centre along the wall. Definitely recommend.

Clean, well equipped apartment within very easy walking distance of the centre of York. Fantastic eateries, cafes and independent shops nearby. An ideal choice for a comfortable place to sleep at the end of a busy day exploring all that York has to offer.
