A superbly presented, contemporary apartment located just a few minutes' walk from all you could wish to see & do in York and just 500m from York Art Gallery, York Theatre Royal and The City Walls.

This stylish 2 bedroom property is brand new and has been thoughtfully furnished by the interior designers that have been used. The property is situated on the second floor of the building with lift access.

The apartment benefits from having new windows and secondary glazing throughout to offer a bit of peace and quiet. The main living area features a modern 3 seater sofa and separate occasional chair. There's a dining space to seat four 4 dinner too. The well presented kitchen area features plenty of cupboard and storage space along with an integrated dishwasher. There's a wall mounted Smart TV for your enjoyment that has separate remote controlled backlighting to set your mood of choice.

One of the bedrooms features a king size bed along with a very modern ensuite shower room. The second bedroom has a double bed along with a wardrobe and dressing table. We loved the apartment, so spacious, everything catered for. Clean and comfortable. The location was perfect. Loved how we could park our car in the secure car park. The team are very communicative kept us up to date with the details for arriving. We were told we could get in at 2pm, usual check in was 4pm. Very helpful. Air con would have been a massive advantage as it was so hot. Oscillating fan helped. We will definitely stay here again. Thanks for a lovely break.

Stays York were really good communicators,even phoning us a couple of days beforehand to check we were fully prepared. It's a lovely apartment in a great position only a few hundred metres from the city centre.We know York well,but this was a holiday for our granddaughters. ;it only takes 20 minutes to Jorvik and York Dungeon. It was extremely hot so the 2 fans were handy,but the owners really need to provide a third.We brought one of our own,which proved essential. They could also do with fitting a small shelf above the bathroom basin to hold toiletries. Visitors will need to press the bottom of the fridge door,which doesn't shut fully..I. know a previous visitor commented on not being able to open the room window, which still hasn't been fixed.You really need to be able to open it in a heatwave.

Third time staying in this appartment block and as usual its great....ideal location with the shops and the minster just minutes walk away. Lovely clean and comfortable appartment and comfy beds..added bonus was having a lift to save lugging your cases up the stairs....brilliant secure parking too.

Excellent. Only issue was we could not manage to get the washer dryer to dry, but that was minor issue. Location and set up is excellent.

Nice apartment on the 2nd floor Lift access Gated parking so car parked securely very clean All essentials you need in the kitchen Welcome pack if tea, coffee, uht milk and biscuits Apartment was very warm but there are 2 fans provided Windows in the lounge and main bedroom opened well but couldnt open the window in the other bedroom Towel rail in ensuite not working and neither fans in both bathrooms didnt seem to work But just small complaints Apartment is in an excellent position to access york but is on a busy main road

This was our 3rd or 4th stay at the Bootham Urban Space. The location is great and a secure parking space an added bonus. A Sainsbury’s local across the road and some pubs and eateries too. 5 minutes saunter to York Minster. The flat is a good size, clean and has everything you need for a visit. The kitchen is well equipped and you have a dishwasher too. Living space is a good size as are the bedrooms. The beds are really comfortable. The windows are difficult to open but there are tips in the welcome book, if they stay closed you can hardly hear the traffic outside. Downside- towel radiator in the en-suite wasn’t working (had a sign) but there is a washer/dryer if needed. And the sliding doors to both bathrooms can be difficult to get hold of if slip fully in open position so could do with another handle, the main bathroom one got locked closed a couple of times and isn’t the easiest to move. Otherwise a perfect flat for a visit to York and we will return again soon. Thank you

We had a wonderful family stay in York. The flat was bright, clean, and felt really welcoming from the moment we arrived. The secure parking was a huge bonus and made everything so much easier. it allowed us to leave the car securely parked and only a 2 minute walk to the cathedral. Accessing the apartment was straightforward, with clear instructions and smooth entry. We had one very small issue during our stay, but the support over the phone was excellent, with a very quick and helpful resolution. Overall, a great place to stay for a family trip to York. Would happily return

This apartment is very well situated in York. Nicely furnished and spacious enough for three to four people. Things that could be improved - the bin under the sink was very dirty on both the inside and outside. It also contained some rubbish. Also hair was found in the ensuite bathroom. The heated towel rail in the ensuite bathroom was not working - we understand that it takes time to have things repaired but when guests are paying money to have all amenities in working order it is disappointing. A clothes rack was listed on the website but could not be found. The Stays York office were very efficient in purchasing and delivering one to us which was very much appreciated. We would stay again in this apartment.

This is our second time staying at these apartments as they are very close to the city. Only a few minutes walk to York Minster and the town centre. Has everything you need for a short break. Would highly recommend. Would recommend Nola’s restaurant for variety of food and if looking to go to the jazz night book well in advance.

Have stayed at various stays York properties and never been disappointed,same again this time. Minor gripe was there was no dishwasher tablet to use. There was actually a washing machine one in the box which had we used in it you’d still be trying to rinse the foam out.. As I said a minor gripe though.

Customer care from Stays York Ltd was excellent- good communication, easy payment, info on the apartment was great and info about york was helpful. The apartment was very central as described. Apartment was clean and well maintained. The 4 for comfort would have been a 5 if the pillows were more comfortable, if the sofa was more comfortable and the windows opened wider as it was very warm . I would stay in this apartment again.

Bootham Urban space was an excellent 2 bedroom 2 bathroom apartment, comfortable and well equipped. Very well located for access to the heart of the old city. The dedicated, private secure parking af the rear was very good.

Apartment absolutely gorgeous and so clean, bedrooms are beautiful and bathroom and en-suite both stunning and very modern. Would definitely recommend this apartment, also has a lift so no need to worry about carrying suitcases up two flights of stairs. The only thing we found was that it is a very hot apartment, they do supply two fans, but even with these the apartment was still very warm and the bedding was quite thick so might be better to have the option of a summer duvet as well, but this wouldn’t put us off staying again. Also Stays York were fantastic, so helpful, nothing was a problem for them.

We went for a long weekend and could not have asked for a better stay, the apartment was immaculate and the location perfect for the city centre shops and restaurants. There were 4 adults and more than enough space, the bedrooms were big enough, the only issue was there was not much hanging space in the wardrobe of the en-suite bedroom. Everything you need was provided, iron, hairdryer, kitchen appliances, plenty of utensils and glasses/cups etc. The bed was the comfiest I have slept in, and even though on a main road, it was very quiet thanks to the double glazed windows. I would definitely recommend this apartment.

We stayed here for a few days in the October half term as a joint visit to see my son at university and also to see York. The flat is in a fantastic location, literally a 5-10 minute walk from the heart of the city and the Minster. The flat was very comfortable and cozy. Overall cleanliness was acceptable, but not perfect, but that would not stop me from highly recommending this accommodation and would gladly stay again.

The place was lovely, the location excellent, the only thing I would change is that there are 2 keys, as we went with our son and girlfriend, that way we could have had one key each rather than having to input all the codes to get at the key everything you were going out or coming back.

Stayed here for a long weekend with my husband and 2 children. Fantastic base for exploring York. Walking distance to lots of the main attractions and great to be able to lock the car away off the street too. Well set up apartment with all the necessary items you’d need for your stay. Slight issue with ventilation but didn’t really cause any issues with our stay. Sainsbury’s literally across the street so ideal to pick up anything you’ve forgot. Will stay here again on our next visit to York. Highly recommend this property.

Lovely property in a fantastic location - we had an issue with the bed albeit the owner sorted this very quickly . Only slight issue was that the beds were too soft for our tastes and as such sleep quality sufferred- apart from that could not fault it. Would highly recommend

The property was perfect, lovely condition, fantastic location walking distance to everything. Lovely little touches on arrival - hamper with tea, coffee & biscuits. Lovely brand new apartment really well equipped with hotel style fit out. The car park is fab. Two bathrooms is great. Location is perfect for city centre and lotsa of bars and restaurants. The instructions to find and enter the property were really good. Only small thing is the spec on apartment is really high but found the mattresses to really cheap and could feel the springs. With such a lovely finish and good quality linen it was a little bit of a disappointment.

The flat was beautifully remodeled, clean & comfortable. So conveniently located to the York Minster & historic area of York, and a short walk to the train station (approx 10 min). The rental agency is right down the block and we dropped in and met the ladies running the office. So nice & professional.
