This luxury property is newly refurbished, decorated and furnished to a high standard and has everything you need for an enjoyable, relaxing stay in York. Free parking and just a short walk to all the attractions, shops, and restaurants.

Excellent location for York and for us the easy access to the racecourse and access to the City wall were a bonus. The Bishy road availability is also a big plus for shopping etc . The balcony was a lovely feature especially in the evening. Negative points were the lack of a pint of milk on arrival, the oven not working on the first evening (though the agents fixed this the following day), the dining table seemed to us a bit like Caravaning in the 1960s,

We also enjoy sitting outside on the patio in the Summer evenings! Hope the small problem with the oven didnt cause you too much inconvenience and happy to know that it was dealt with promptly the very next day.

A very good weekend but went too quickly

Arrived on Friday, left on Monday in late October, mainly to see family who are local. All agreed we liked the apartment. Excellent location in walking distance of the city centre and all amenities but far enough away to be out of the bustle. Very quiet area and no road noise. Very well lit at night. Local facilities including takeaways, restaurants and bars very good and beds very comfortable. Will be brilliant in the summer and parking space is invaluable.

Property in an excellent position with superb outlook and outside seating/dining. Beautifully decorated and equipped. Bed really comfortable. The following minor problems did not in any way detract from our stay enjoyment Hot water pressure in kitchen and bathroom too low. Intermittent working of extractor fan in bathroom. Hook on bathroom door loose.

The property provided everything we needed and had two up-to-date Smart TVs as well Wi Fi. Very handy for Bishopthorpe Road with all the local services as well as the excellent restaurant -Melton. Only a short taxi ride to York Races (£5).
