Set just a short stroll from the city centre, this 4 bedroom town house makes for the perfect family getaway.
Just around the corner from the Bishopthorpe Road area you will have an abundance of independent cafes, restaurants and shops on your doorstep with this quirky little corner of York.
The property itself is set over 3 floors. The downstairs area has the house living room with 2 x 3 seater sofas and a lovely feature wood burning stove. There's also a spacious dining room to seat 6 for dinner. The kitchen is very well equipped and has features such as a large 'American style' fridge freezer plus 6 ring gas hob.
There is a large private yard and patio at the rear of the property with outdoor seating for up to 8 people.
On the first floor of the house there are 2 spacious king size bedrooms plus the house bathroom complete with bath with over head shower. There's also a separate toilet just next to the main bathroom.
The top floor has a nicely presented twin room plus an additional single.
For those with pets, good news. The property can accommodate 1 well behaved dog.
Although there is no parking with the property there is a large public car park just 2-3 minute walk away.

The location was excellent for walking into city and train station. It was cosy, and home from home.
It was spacious for us all, clean and tidy,nice welcome pack and close to pubs, restaurants and shops.

Girly Birthday Weekend

A group of 7 of us visited York to celebrate a birthday. The house was plenty big enough for us all, 2 toilets helped. The rooms were modern and nicely decorated with very comfy beds. We enjoyed the welcome hamper, much appreciated. We were also contacted to let us know we could check in early. Only downside is lack of parking. Carpark near by but quite pricey.

Great property in a lovely spot. 15 min walk to York centre but close to local high street. House was large and very clean and had everything we needed. Accommodated 7 adults with no problems.

As a family visit we had a wonderful stay. The location was perfect, very easy to get everywhere in 10minutes. We were very comfortable and had lots of space. The kitchen was well supplied and very easy to use. It was great to have a washer and a drier as we were a family and was very handy to wash some clothes. The wifi worked really well throughout the house and the living room with the big TV was great to snuggle up after a long day out. We would love to visit again and enjoy a few days in York all over!

A fantastic property in a great location. More than enough space for two families with the centre of York a short walk away!! Located next a really nice neighbourhood row of shops and some restaurants and a wonderful local neighbourhood pub a two minute stroll away. Definitely would happily return here!!

We had a wonderful stay at 76 Nunnery Lane! It was very comfortable for our family of 5 adults and 2 children. Very comfortable beds, with luxurious bedding and towels. Well equipped kitchen, and powerful shower in the bathroom! This house has been very well renovated, and is in an excellent location for walking into the lovely city center of York and is right across the street from a delightful bakery! Restaurants and a Sainsbury's express are just around the corner. The couple of queries we had during our stay were quickly answered by the Stays York staff, and we were very impressed with our first experience booking with them. The only slight downside to this location is the busy road the house is situated on. It was only an issue on the couple of warm evenings when we wanted to open the windows in the master bedroom, and then the traffic was quite loud, but it did not detract from our enjoyment of the house and our stay :)

We stayed at the Nunnery Lane property for 3.5 weeks. We were extremely happy with it. Very comfortable and tastefully furnished. Excellent spot for shops, cafes etc. 10 minute walk into town. Kitchen well set up with cooking facilities etc. Early in our stay we had a plumbing issue which was rectified quickly. The office staff are extremely helpful. Would highly recommend it.
