Perfect accommodation and location for 2 people wanting to explore the city. A quiet flat only a few minutes walk from the bustle of York. Everything in the flat was comfortable and in good condition and we would definitely stay there again if revisiting York..

What a refreshing change to find an accommodation with no negatives! The apartment was scrupulously clean and very well appointed. The bed was comfortable, the shower was superb, hot and powerful and the welcome pack was indeed very welcome, thank you The surroundings were very quiet with lots of greenery and trees but within flat, easy walking distance to the city. The kitchen contained everything you would need and to have a washer dryer was a real bonus so we could do our washing the night before we left. Bliss All in all I wouldn't hesitate in recommending 6 St. John's Mews as a base to stay when in York

Good location. 10 minute walk into city. Very nice apartment. Clean tidy. Good shower. Easy access. Great for two people. Heating okay as on timer but could go on a bit earlier having said that you press a button to boost so not a hassle. Would recomend

Lovely, spotlessly clean apartment close to the city centre. Apartment has everything you may need for your stay. Comfortable bed & lovely shower. Check-in easy with a lock-box. Short walk into the centre of York where there is plenty to see and do for a long weekend. Would highly recommend.

The booking process was excellent, with great communication throughout. The apartment was easy to find and access using the key safe. It is located in a quiet residential street just outside the city walls and is handy for all the sights in York. I didn't have the use of a car for my stay, but easily managed to get to all the sights and attractions in York from the apartment due to its location. The property was spotlessly clean, and had everything you would need for a very comfortable stay. I would be very happy to return!

The apartment was airy, warm and spotlessly clean, with everything looking brand new. The kitchen area had everything I needed and I particularly appreciated that a teapot was included! The shower is great. The instructions and recommendations were helpful. The location was quiet but less than a 5 minute walk to the city walls and all that York has to offer beyond. I didn't need parking but there is a car park a minute's walk away. It's a modern apartment so if you want historic charm, it might not be for you, but there's so much, literally just outside the door, I hardly think it matters.

I liked everything and thoroughly enjoyed my stay. Only one suggestion/plea: the bathroom mirror really needs a light! There's nowhere decent to do makeup. Shower lovely.

We rented this apartment for the third time as it is excellently located in relation to the rest of the family in York. It is also in a quiet area and there is almost no traffic or noise in the neighbourhood. We only have two things that we wish were better and it concerns the furnishing of the apartment, one is that we missed a coffee table and two that the bed was very high (maybe because of the drawers underneath).

Best short stay accommodation we have stayed in for years though the last Stays York flat we used runs it very close! Spotlessly clean right through including all the cooking facilities. Wanted for nothing. Very comfortable bed. Super bathroom with lots of hot water! Everything necessary for a most enjoyable stay was there. Will certainly book it again. A short walk into the centre of York! Although there was no parking we solved that problem using the JustPark app and got parking fairly close-by for £36 for the four nights/five days. Didn’t use the nearby council car park which was £18 for 24 hours! A most enjoyable stay

This place is an absolute gem!! Very quiet location, impeccably clean and a lovely little arrival gift of tea, coffee, fresh milk, nibbles and chocolate! Very close to the city centre! So much to do but we ran out of time! We had a really lovely weekend and this place was very much part of the reason!!

Stayed here for the weekend we have family in York, this was a great place with such a huge amount of space! The kitchen/living room area was great and nice touch with the hamper. Once you step outside the door you look right up the street and have a perfect view of the Minster. Although it is located outside of the walls it’s literally about a 1minute walk and you’re within the walls. Price was great for centre of york, bed was extremely comfortable. Overall a thoroughly delightful stay.

Incredible apartment and location! A 5 minute walk from the city centre, but within a residential area that is very quiet you do not feel that you are within a busy city. The apartment is spacious, clean and well stocked with milk and tea/coffee. Very easy check in and check out.

The apartments are located on a scenic English street within a student campus. It looks like a scene from a movie—perfect for our Instagram stories. The main room itself is large and comfortable, with a great lounge area featuring a widescreen TV, sofa, and armchair. The armchair comes with a warm blanket. The kitchen has everything we needed: two sinks, a lot of diverse dishes, frying pan, a dishwasher, an oven (there's even a baking sheet in case you want to bake pies), a kettle, tea, cofee and a microwave. There's also dishwashing liquid provided. A beautiful wooden table is ideal for breakfast, lunch, and dinner (and also for doing a jigsaw puzzle which is stored under a microwave table). The bedroom has a stunning view of the street and a bed that is just perfect in terms of softness and firmness. The same goes for the pillows. The blanket is light and airy, but very warm. Sleeping on this bed was pure joy. To be honest, I've never slept in such a comfortable bed in my life :)) The bathroom also had everything we needed. The apartments are a 10-15 minute walk from the city center, but York is such a beautiful city that you'll want to stop every five minutes to take a photo. I highly recommend this place.

This is perfect place for a couples weekend ! My partner and I couldn’t believe how stunning the flat was, nice and spacious and secure with all the facilities you’d need for a short break and in the perfect location ! Only a short walk into town. The host was very easy to contact and very helpful/ friendly, we couldn’t fault this apartment and will definitely be booking again

We loved everything about this place, the owners are very thoughtful including little extras in your stay like a bag of goodies waiting on the table for you , Netflix on the TV and everything you need in one apartment. It was super clean and modern also in walking distance from everything you need in the centre. The bed was super comfy! We have had a look to book again as we loved it that much, we described it as home from home it was that comfortable.
