Great location! In need of a refresh.

This was our 2nd stay at Hunt Court this year and one thing that stood out for us this time round was the overall decor quality thoughout the property. In our opinion, it is looking rather tired urgently in need of a refresh. That said, the property was clean, cozy, and comfortable and contains pretty much everything you would find at home. The biggest draw to booking this property has to be it's location. Just park the car on the drive and leave it there. An easy 5 minute walk gets you into the centre of York with all of it's fantastic attractions and eateries. Such a fantastic place to visit, we never get bored of repeat visits as there is so much to do, and see! A big thank you goes out to the staff at the Stays York office who readily responded to any questions we had and helped us to book next years York stay - Thank you!

The property was stylish, ,comfortable and well equipped.It was spotlessly clean on arrival and we found it very easy to settle down thanks to clear instructions. The house was very close to the centre of York and bus routes. We would not hesitate to book the property again.

Stairs awkward for my husband who has some mobility issues.cupboards in kitchen awkward to use. Beds too small and too low.In hot weather duvet too thick.No slip mat in shower or bath.(could bring my own)House,location,garden,parking -all excellent.

We stayed here as 2 couples looking for a relaxing time away in York . We are so glad we picked 16 Hunt Court. It was spotless , so close to York city centre (a few mins walk from The Shambles ) and had everything we could need for the weekend . it was so quiet and relaxing , the back garden was lovely for sitting out and the little sun room was amazing . If we came back to York (which I think we will !) we would 100% stay at Hunt Court again.

This was a very lovely property, in the center of york, a short walk to the pubs and shops. Large Supermarket in ten minutes walk. Free parking outside the house, the kitchen is amazing very well stocked with cooking equipment, comfortable living room, and large dining area, downstairs toilet and good shower, the upstairs is nice with the bathroom, and two separate double bedrooms, the outside is tranquil with seating areas to enjoy the view invc wildlife in the garden, would stay again

A Christmas shopping break

We stay in York for 5 days every year to do our Christmas shopping. The properties we stay in must be central, with on site parking, clean and comfortable - Hunt Court ticked all those boxes. It is an excellent property and the location is perfect- quiet but within easy walk of the main shopping areas to allow us to pop back with our bags when we needed to! Also only 2 mins from access to the walls and from our favourite restaurant in York - Little Italy. The house is very comfortable and mainly well equipped- some waste bins in the bathrooms and bedrooms would be a good addition. The mattress on the main bed was perfect for us - very comfortable. There were only two of us staying so we didn’t have issues with storage, but personally we think it would be a struggle for 4 adults due to lack of storage upstairs -only 1/2 a wardrobe in main bedroom (other side is locked) and a small hanging rail in the second ( which would cover the mirror if full of clothes!) A chest of drawers in both bedrooms would be much more useful than the chairs and decorative chests, and proper bedside tables where you can actually put things - there is plenty of room for these in both rooms. That said it did not detract at all from our stay, indeed we have already booked again for next year, so can’t give a better recommendation than that!

Exceptional Home in Perfect Location

This apartment was one of the most comfortable and beautifully appointed rental homes we've ever stayed in. Excellent communication and equipment operating instructions. The kitchen is very well equipped and overall the decor is stunning. We loved the accordion glass doors to the patio and the views of the medieval walls. The glass enclosed seating area with a heater would be an exceptional bonus on rainy or colder days, but we had lovely weather for patio usage. The house is cozy but somehow also spacious. You feel like you're in the middle of the suburbs, but are three blocks from all of the wonderful York action. Only potential negative was the smaller beds- folks used to American queen or king beds will find them a tight squeeze. Even so, would absolutely stay again.

I spent a perfectly delightful and most comfortable week at 16 Hunt Court. The beds are comfortable and the kitchen is well stocked. It's a 10 minute walk to the Shambles market. I would highly recommend 16 Hunt Ct. for your next York trip.

A proper little diamond of a place - only a few streets out of the town centre but you wouldn't know that from how quiet it is around the property. The place itself is spacious, beautifully appointed and very welcoming. We will definitely be back!

Here to celebrate our 25th Wedding Anniversary as we got engaged here and stayed for part of our honeymoon. 16 Hunt Court is in a perfect place, not too far from the centre, but very quiet. A lovely retreat and we will book again. Very comfy bed, very clean and the outside is perfect for relaxing in the sun
