The property boasts a lovely, quiet outside area and is the perfect space for relaxing after visiting all there is to see and do in York. Other amenities include free private parking out-front for two cars and WiFi throughout.

Cannot recommend highly enough, the location is brilliant, nice and quiet but only a few minutes walk to the likes of York Minster. The house is immaculate and lovingly presented. Just inside the walls which are the views out the back. Cannot fault and the added bonus (especially for York) of TWO parking spots by the front door.

We recently stayed here for three nights, and this was our second visit to this lovely accommodation. There were four of us, and we were all very comfortable — the bedrooms are spacious, the bathroom is excellent, and the kitchen has everything you need. The location is perfect, just a short walk to the city centre, with convenient parking right out front. The house is beautifully decorated, and we especially loved the festive touches during our stay. Another fantastic experience — we’d happily return again! ?

We spent 3 nights here and it was truly perfect. The location is a very short walk to the old city. We parked the car for the whole time - parking was great! The house felt brand new - super clean, modern, well-appointed and very comfortable. The owners were lovely too. Honestly, stay here! You won’t be disappointed.

As a fellow Air bnb host, I had high expectations. This property blew me away. From the quality of the fixtures and fittings to the immaculate furnishings. The property was spotless! The dressing room was a nice feature. It felt a privilege staying there and we appreciated the extra touches such as milk and high quality snacks. The property had everything we needed. Location was amazing in city centre and we really appreciated having a private parking space. We would definitely book again 🙂

We've been here several times as it provides for all our needs. The private parking is excellent, and essential for my husband; it is the first thing he looks for. Lovely great big shower on the first floor. Everything you could possibly require is provided. We had a good time.

Everything was wonderful. The house was easy to find , very well furnished and could not have been cleaner. We were able to walk to all the attractions, restaurants, etc. that we wanted to visit and with car parking was ideal. Thanks for a lovely break.

We would thoroughly recommend this property. Just a few minutes walk from the Centre of York in a lovely quiet location. The house is extremely well equipped and comfortable and spotlessly clean. Fabulous linens and comfy beds. Great showers. We really appreciated the supply of teabags, milk and welcome biscuits and really cannot think of anyway this property could be improved. The owners were very kind and let us park our car on the drive when we arrived at lunchtime and ahead of the check-in time of 4pm. Their flexibility was really appreciated. Good service to from Stays York. We would not hesitate to book this property again.

Its in a perfect location a few minutes walk from York Minster and the centre of York, yet peaceful and quiet. Having not one, but two parking spaces was an extra benefit. 5/5 It is a little expensive, but well worth it. Quite location. Easy to find. 5min walk and you’re into the shops, bars and restaurants. Bathrooms are stunning, faultlessly clean, whoever cleans this place must be ex mafia. 3 story building. Floor 2 is twin beds by default, but you can request they’re made up as double. I should have done this as floor 3 is a smaller room with a double bed. As we stay as a couple with no kids this would have suited us better, saves on climbing another extra flight of stairs. No bedroom TV’s Very minor issues, and I really do mean minor. Soap dispenser in downstairs toilet is faulty. Could have done with a few washing machine tablets. (Plenty of dishwasher tablets) Frying pan needs renewing, non stick coating has worn through + no spray oil. The tv has apps like Disney, Netflix and prime. Great, but it’s logged on with someone else’s Id. if this is the owners own, then fair enough, but if it’s from a previous guest, then you’ll need to remove their usernames (potential security issue? idk) I’m a fussy bugger but this place is highly recommended, would stay here again. My 1st choice

This property is extremely well located for all the different attractions in York, and only a short walk from a wide selection of places to eat.The house was very clean on our arrival and comfortably furnished. The bathrooms were spacious and like the rest of the property well equipped. If I had one very minor addition to suggest it would be a nonslip mat for the shower over the bath as it was slippery under foot. I would whole heartedly recommend this house for getting the best from a stay in York.

We have just returned from a week at Pear Tree House. We couldn’t fault a single thing . The property is situated in an ideal location …just minutes walk from the centre of York. Despite being so central, it was very peaceful and quiet and lovely to return to after a busy day sightseeing. The house was exceptionally clean, comfortable and very well equipped . I would have no hesitation in recommending this property and we would definitely return to it were we to visit York again. Possibly the cleanest and nicest self catering property we have ever stayed in.

This property is exceptional.Its quiet, beautifully clean and top quality. Its position is 5 mins walk from the Minster and everything in York easily reached. If it has downsides, its that the living/dining area is a little small for 4 adults and the rear garden is overlooked by the walkers/tourists enjoying the city walls but didn't bother us. The bedrooms and bathrooms are lovely. Parking is a real bonus. Overall, we would definitely recommend Pear Tree Court.

My husband and I travel a ton. We are used to excellent accommodations that are clean and in great locations. This lodgings checked all of our boxes. We usually have a lot of criticism. In this case we have none. The host even left extra elec converters and needle and thread.

The home was extremely well equipped with everything we could have possibly needed. Right down to milk in fridge. My son was especially very happy with the chocolates. Such attention to detail. We were so grateful for this. The level of cleanliness of the home was absolutely perfect. Everything was spotless! This was such a relief to me. As I have often stayed in places that have fantastic reviews for cleanliness, but they fell really short when we got there. This really upsets me usually. But I was so pleasantly surprised here, as the reviews were correct. Whoever cleans this home is a perfectionist. The home was also decorated beautifully. With high quality appliances and furniture. No expense has been spared. We were so impressed at how close this home was to all the main attractions of York. Everything was just a short walk away, and there was 2 spaces to park the car right in front of the property. We will definitely be booking this home again, as soon as we can get down to York again. Thank you so much!!
